Get Involved

First Person Publishing values the support we receive from the many different people wanting to help us support our partners’ causes. We believe in collaboration between organizations and individuals with shared interests, and have created ways for those interested in what we are doing to get involved. Below are a few quick and easy ways you can help us advance the missions of our nonprofit partners.

Suggest a Creative Writing Activity

First Person Publishing’s team will be conducting creative writing activities around the world over the coming year to develop children’s books about endangered species . Young women in Somaly Mam Foundation’s Voices for Change program will teach these activities to other young women in Cambodia. AfricAid’s Kisa Scholars will be doing the same in Tanzania, as will young women from Afghanistan, India, DR Congo, Sudan, Nicaragua and Bolivia. These activities do more than just generate ideas for our next set of books, they will remain a part of our partners' education programs, which will help young women around the world express themselves through writing.

You can help develop our Creative Writing Curriculum by suggesting new activities! Click here (This link is to a Microsoft Word document. You must have Microsoft Word to open it.) to download the Creative Writing Activity template, fill out the template with as many ideas as you like, and email them to info@firstpersonpublishing.com with “Creative Writing Activity Suggestion” in the Subject Line.
